Privacy Policy

When you connect an Instagram Professional account, we receive information authorized through Meta, such as account identifiers, username, profile information, access credentials, comments, and related post context.

We also process the replies you draft or approve, edits you make, voice preferences, automation settings, and basic technical logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.

We use this information to connect your account, display and understand comments, suggest replies in your preferred style, publish replies you approve or authorize, operate automation rules, provide support, and protect the service.

We do not sell your personal information or Instagram Platform Data.

Comment and content context may be processed to generate reply suggestions. Suggestions can be inaccurate or inappropriate, so you remain in control of review and automation settings. We do not use your private Instagram content to train a general-purpose model without your permission.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, or operate InstaSidekick; with Meta as needed to use Instagram APIs; when required by law; or as part of a business transaction. Providers may use information only to perform services for us and must protect it.

We keep information only while it is needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect InstaSidekick. Retention periods depend on the type of information and why it is processed.

When you disconnect an Instagram account or revoke InstaSidekick's access, we delete the Instagram Platform Data tied to that account — including access credentials, comments, and post context — within 30 days, except where a short retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

To delete your account and associated data, use Delete my account in Settings or follow the steps on our account deletion page. We may retain limited records when legally required.

You can pause automation, disconnect Instagram in InstaSidekick, or revoke access through your Meta account settings. You may also ask to access, correct, export, or delete your information, subject to applicable law.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted storage for access credentials and restricted access to production systems. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We use Google Analytics on our website and Firebase Analytics in our mobile app to understand traffic, app usage, and feature performance. Google may collect device, browser, approximate location, and interaction information and may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose. We do not use this information for third-party advertising.

InstaSidekick requires every user to be at least 18 and authorized to manage the Instagram account they connect, consistent with our Terms of Use. The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age; if we learn we have, we will delete it. Local law may require a higher minimum age.
